All Metals 7-10 Days

CASTING service

Lost-wax casting in silver, gold (9k–22k), platinum, and palladium. Wax masters or 3D printed resins accepted. Pre-finish polish included before return.

SUBMIT the brief

Choose your service, fill the brief form, and upload references, sketches, or impressions. You'll get a written quote within 24 hours.

APPROVE & pay deposit

50% deposit on approval. Work begins immediately. You'll get progress updates and proof images at key milestones.

DELIVERY & final pay

Final balance on completion. We ship via insured next-day courier in the UK, or international tracked. Full QC inspection before dispatch.

A typical working jeweller commissions 2 CAD jobs, 30 stones set, and 1 casting per quarter — that's around £3,400 at public rates per year.

At member rates, the same year's commissions cost £2,160. Membership at £49/month (Trade) is £588 — meaning you save £656 net after the membership pays for itself.

Why is the workshop members-only?+
It's a quality and capacity decision. The Glider Jewels studio has limited bench time — restricting commissions to members keeps turnaround fast and quality high. Membership also helps us know who we're working with, which matters when handling client diamonds and bespoke briefs.
What's the difference between Trade, Apprentice, and Master for services?+
All three tiers get the same member rates on services. The differences: Apprentice and Master also unlock courses; Master adds priority service slots (skip the queue) and quarterly mentorship. If you only want services, Trade at £49/month is the right tier.
How fast can I get something done?+
Standard turnaround is 7-14 working days depending on service. CAD is fastest (5-7 days), diamond setting takes longest for full sets (10-14 days). Master members get priority slots — your job moves to the front of the queue. Rush jobs available on request for a 25% premium.
Do I need to supply my own stones for setting?+
Either works. Send your own stones, or we can source through our partner network. Lab-grown and natural both available, with full certification on request. We handle stones to GIA-equivalent standards in-house and document every transit.
What if I'm not happy with the result?+
CAD designs include up to 2 free revisions. For physical work (setting, casting, wax), we'll always inspect and re-do anything that fails QC at no charge. If a finished piece genuinely doesn't meet the brief, we'll either re-do or refund — case-by-case, but we don't deliver work we wouldn't pay for ourselves.
Can I drop off in person?+
Yes — by appointment only. The Glider Jewels studio is in central London. Drop-off and collection are available Tuesday-Friday with a member booking. Most members ship via insured courier — it's faster and easier than a London visit unless you're local.
Are international commissions accepted?+
Yes. We work with members worldwide. International shipping uses tracked, insured carriers. Customs and duties are the recipient's responsibility — we'll declare honestly and provide all paperwork. Add 5-7 days to standard turnarounds for transit each way.
